Introduced to Judo in 2004, I took on learning the sport primarily to hang out with friends. After a few classes, I eventually learned to appreciate and enjoy the sport. After participating (and placing), in a few tournaments, I wanted to make it a goal to at least reach Shodan level. Eventually, despite working two to three jobs, I was able to achieve said goal, and now enjoy passing on the wisdom and lessons I’ve learned from my experience.
